HCG is a hormone naturally produced in the body. It has many functions and is used medically to treat a variety of conditions. It is the pregnancy hormone, but during pregnancy the levels double every two days. This hormone allows the body to metabolize fat and use it as energy for both mother and fetus. This acts as a “fail-safe” mechanism when energy is needed immediately. For weight loss, we use only a very small amount of HCG to capitalize on this same mechanism. Using HCG in this way does not mimic pregnancy; in fact, it can be safely used by both men and women. HCG is extremely safe. BEFORE you start:

    Take a picture of yourself in a bathing suit or something form fitting.

    Weigh yourself…….You need to weigh in the morning after you empty your bladder before you eat anything in the same way, (clothing or not) every day! Write it down!

    Measure yourself – your thighs, hips, waist, bust, arms. You WILL drop many inches. Some people drop more than 20 inches overall in just the first 2 weeks. Even when there is only a 5-10 pound weight loss, you can still lose the inches. This is because you are losing FAT and FAT takes up more room than muscle. You are not going to lose muscle on this diet, like you would on many other traditional diets.

    For best results, PLEASE follow the guidelines in this plan. You need to pig out and eat a lot of fatty foods the first two days of the diet. (Yey, this part is easy) This starts the fat metabolism process. Grab a journal and have fun keeping track of your progress because you do need to measure and weigh every day. The Diet Summary

    2 days of pigging out and taking the HCG products.

    To start the diet, for the first two days, you will completely gorge yourself on very fatty foods like ice cream, fried chicken, pasta, bread and lots of real butter, cream cheese, mayo, french fries, oreos, donuts, cheese cake, bacon, sausage etc.

    This fat will not stick and will be used as energy. These two days are very critical in keeping your appetite suppressed through the remainder of the HCG diet. If the high foods are not consumed for the first two days of the diet, you will be much hungrier than those who did.

    18 days of restricted eating while taking the HCG A plateau always occurs sometime during the duration sometimes 4-6 days. No worries, it will correct itself!

    3 days of restricted eating AFTER finishing the HCG (this is the first step to the maintenance phase)

    21 days of “watching what you eat” – The maintenance phase. This consists of eating regularly but being very careful of the carbs, sugars and fats. This is the period where your weight stabilizes. Most people continue to lose inches and pounds during this stage.

    Remember: This is just for 3 weeks

Instructions and Guidelines

    As always it is a good idea to consult your Doctor before starting any diet plan. Do not use if you are pregnant.

    Days 1 and 2: Take 5-10 drops of HCG under the tongue 3 times a day. (Usually the second time around you can cut back to 5 and it's still affective). Take 5 drops of ZCNY Chi for energy under the tongue 2-3 times a day. Hold them for a minute then swallow. Wait 10 minutes before eating or drinking anything. Make sure you eat as much fat in everything and anything to start the process.

    Day 3 until your goal weight: Continue HCG and ZCNY Chi as directed. Begin the HCG reduced calorie plan (see included food guide – THIS IS IMPORTANT!) In order for this program to work it must be strictly followed without interruption. A disruption during the first 20 days can affect long term weight loss.

    When you reach your goal weight: You must do the reduced calorie plan a minimum of 20 days (including the first two days of eating high fat) even if you reach your goal weight before this time. This re-sets your hypothalamus. Then follow the maintenance plan.

      VERY IMPORTANT:

        Supplementation:
        Vitamin C – Calcium – Potassium – Magnesium (for constipation) – and
        Vitamin B12 – no fat soluble vitamins should be taken.

      BREAKFAST: Water with fresh squeezed lemon. You will need at least 10 glasses per day.

      LUNCH: A protein food and fresh vegetables.

      DINNER: A protein food and fresh vegetables.

      SNACKS: Two portions of fruit a day, in the morning and afternoon.

        Protein Foods: 3 ˝ oz twice daily (lunch and dinner)
        Choose only lean meats, particularly:
        Chicken - no skin (chicken breast only)
        Veal or steak (free range only)
        Fresh white fish (halibut, cod, flounder, monkfish, perch, pike, Pollock, snapper, sole, whiting, crab meat, lobster, shrimp, scallops)
        You may substitute 1 egg and 2 egg whites for a serving of meat or 3/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese.

        Fresh Vegetables: 3 ˝ oz selected vegetables twice daily (lunch and dinner)
        Asparagus, spinach, chard, chicory, celery, beet-greens, green salad (lettuce), tomatoes, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, zucchini, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower.(Do NOT mix vegetables – one vegetable choice per serving).

        Fruit: 2 portions per day, at least 6 hours apart
        Apple, ˝ grapefruit, strawberries (6 large), orange.

        Grissini Bread: two servings (1 bread stick per serving a day) or, Melba toast: two servings (1 bread stick per serving a day)

        Little Extras
        Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet-basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, and other spices are freely available as seasonings
        NO margarine, butter, oil, dressing
        Juice of 1 lemon daily

      Maintenance Phase

      The purpose of the maintenance phase is to allow your body to stabilize to your new weight. In order to do this, you should follow the maintenance plan exactly, adding in more foods to allow your body to stabilize at your new weight. You can continue the HCG until the bottle is gone. A 30 day break is necessary so your body does not become immune to it. During this period you need to realize that carbohydrates, which are sugar, rice, bread potatoes, pastries etc. are by far the most dangerous. If you take in no carbohydrates, fats can be enjoyed more liberally. This needs to be carefully observed during the 3 week maintenance phase, or weight gain is likely.

        Examples of starchy foods:

          Bread, butternut squash, pasta, yams, beans, bananas, wheat, potatoes, rice, barley, winter squash, carrots, pumpkin, cereals, peanuts, cornstarch, peas, bread, and buckwheat.

        Maintenance phase:

          Fruit – four servings
          Protein – two 7 oz servings
          Vegetables – two 7 oz servings
          Dairy – low fat – very sparingly
          Oils – 3 tsp

            Fruit Group – All fresh, frozen canned, dried fruits and fruit juices.

            Protein Group – Lean meat, poultry, or fish.

            Vegetable Group - All fresh, frozen, canned or dried vegetables and vegetable juices.

            Dairy – All dairy choices should be fat-free or low-fat and used very sparingly.

            Oils - Canola, olive, and sunflower oil – nuts, olives, fish and avocados. Foods that are mainly oil include soft margarine, mayonnaise, and certain salad dressings.

      It takes approximately 3 weeks before the weight reached at the end of the treatment is stabilized. For example, it does not show violent fluctuations after an occasional excess. During this period you must realize that carbohydrates, meaning: SUGAR, RICE, BREAD, POTATOES, PASTRIES, etc are by far the most dangerous. If no carbohydrates are consumed, fats can be indulged somewhat more liberally. When fats and starches are combined, weight gain can get out of hand. This has to be observed very carefully during the first 3 weeks after the treatment is ended otherwise weight gain is very likely.

        Weight gain of more than 2 lbs in one day:
        As long as your weight stays within 2 pounds of the weight reached on the day of the last HCG dose, you should take no notice of any increase, but the moment the scale goes beyond two pounds, even if this is only a few ounces, you must on that same day entirely skip breakfast and lunch but have plenty to drink. In the evening eat a huge steak and 1 apple or 1 raw tomato – nothing else.

      It is of utmost importance that this is done on the day the scale goes above 2 pounds and not postponed until the following day. If a meal is skipped on the day in which a gain is registered in the morning, this brings about an immediate drop of often over a pound. But if the skipping of the meal (and skipping means literally skipping, not just having a light meal) is postponed, the phenomenon does not occur and several days of strict dieting may be necessary to correct the situation.

      Most people hardly ever need to do this and if they have eaten a heavy lunch they feel no desire to eat their dinner, and in this case no increase takes place. If they keep their weight at the point reached at the end of the treatment, even a heavy dinner does not bring about an increase of two pounds on the next morning, and does not therefore call for any special measures. You may be surprised at how small your appetite becomes! And actually how much you can get away with eating and not gaining a pound! You will find that you are much more satisfied with less food to eat! In fact, many people are usually disappointed that they cannot manage their first normal meal, which they have been planning for!

      More Weight Loss??
      You can continue the HCG and ZCNY during the maintenance phase as this will help your body continue to burn fat that may aid in continued weight loss until the bottle is gone. If you experience weight gain, the process can be repeated. A 30 day break is needed between usage to prevent immunity to HCG.
